Brittany is an Engineer with experience in biomedical research and product design, public health, and water quality management. She received her bachelors in Biological Systems Engineering from Michigan State University with an EIT certificate and her master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering with a certificate in Precision Health from the University of Michigan. Prior to working at Akadeum, she was the Project Lead for the construction of a rainwater collection system in Tanzania, Africa with Engineers Without Borders.

At Akadeum, Brittany supports the Device team and R&D team with product research and development and experimental design. She is currently working on the testing and development of the Alerion Instrument and BioRise Consumable. She aims to use her engineering skills to improve human health.
